I have tried so many machines for express coffee, I think that the best are saeko and the Pavoni. Then it takes good coffee, dosed well, good water.

The closest i got, i had to put soo much coffee in, i went mad for a couple of hours!

I think that the problem is that machines are regulated (water pression for ex...) in different way if are for the italian market or other country (as an italian barman in Barcelona explained to me).
So a good machine in spain hardly can do the same coffee than other of the same type in italy.

Is that the shot in a little plastic cup? We dont get them here

Yes. Really a good coffee (but expensive). I bought a nespresso machine this Christmas and it's the best coffee i never drinked here in spain.
Only 1 problem: you have to give money to nestlé

Like i said, i had one form the ballaro market, but it broke!


How do you know argos and lidl???
Some people laugh at poeple who go to lidl cos it's very cheap, but i like it, it is German and they have loads of cheap meat and beer
I dont like argos tho. You dont pick things of the shelf! You find it's number in a book and then go to the till and then you have to wait while they find it And some times they dont have any left!!!!!!!!!

We have Lidl in Italy as well, I like it too, I go there everytime I can because you can find everything you like and for cheap . People don't trust brands that are not advertised on Tv but pretty much everything Lidl sells is well known in its origin country. For example Barilla, Kinder, Ferrero, Buitoni, Mulino Bianco etc are the best italian brands and they are very expensive here in Italy, much cheaper abroad where people don't know them at all

Argos is British only , you can save time by browsing through the catalogue and making your shopping list at home

You should come again soon, i'll tell you the best places to go I found a cafe in north london 'sfizio', they sell cannoli e arancina ect and if you order in advance, i believe cassatta.. Buitoni, they make pasta, right?
I will come to Italy again in the summer... Either Sicily, Napoli or maybe Siena
